RECIPES FOR GUARANA ENERGY DRINKS
The powder has a slightly bitter taste but mixes well with fruits and chocolate to create some great drinks. See the recipes below. Folklore and myth have hailed guarana as a gift from the gods. Its secrets have been known and praised by native Indians for centuries. The Amazonians utilise it as a refresher whilst at work and play. They've done so for thousands of years. The guarana seed contains a crystallisable substance called guaranine, an alkaloid similar to theine of tea, caffeine of coffee and other constituents common to tea, cola and cocoa. The natural combination of these alkaloids in harmonious balance is unique. Guarana Naturale can be consumed like tea, mixed with juice or cold milk, used in cooking or sprinkled on breakfast cereal. When used in drinks, some sediment will be left in the bottom of the cup. This should be consumed as it is the synergy of the whole seed that produces the gentle, refreshing, uplifting and long-lasting effect for which Guarana Naturale is renowned. Pure guarana will not dissolve in either alcohol or water. It is also preferable not to add ice to guarana drinks as the powder will tend to stick to the ice. We recommend you carry our 4g Guarana Naturale sachets with you so that, wherever you happen to be, you can mix your favourite drink on the run.
